The WRX Kit was designed to replace the factory Head Unit. Subaru has standardized their factory double DIN head unit since at least 2001, perhaps earlier.  The general rule of thumb, if the vehicle will take a late model 2DIN head unit, it will work.

This LCD Kit is 100% compatible (bolts in without any dash modifications) with the following vehicles.

Impreza          2002-2006

Forester          2001-2006 **

Legacy            2005-2006 **

Outback          2005-2006 **

Baja                2005-2006 **

** Need to confirm fit- although the kit will bolt into the dash, some models have custom dash piece that does not have the standard opening.

I've had people adapt it to other vehicles, including a VW and a Nissan. Be advised: it will not likely be an exact fit and may require some modifications on your behalf to make it work. If you think it might fit in your 2DIN opening, here is a drawing with dimensions.

By using Metra Electronics Kit # 99-5807 available at Circuit City, kit has cleanly be installed in

Ford Mustang     2005    

Using the Metra Kit, the install was 100% bolt in, no drilling or hacking necessary.
